Love Letters

Dear Owner,

Someone once told me i would know the house that i wanted to be my home from the moment i saw it, and that turned out to be true.

... is everything I imagined my home would be plus more. It's modern, yet warm, and still holds all the charm of the original architecture. The beauty of the home is a testament to your great taste. I would feel honored to continue upon its legacy.

As a television network executive - that has lived in New York for the last 21 years - I see the home as a magical place where I can be a part of a close knit community and be able to start a small family. Similar to living and working in New York, it is important for me to be in a neighborhood where I can positively contribute to its growth, as much as it contributes to mine. I am simply in love with the home and neighborhood.

Thank you for the opportunity to present my offer. If you accept, please know the home will be filled with love, laughs, creativity and of course lots of stories about my time in New York.

Dear homeowners of the enchanting Santa Anita,

We have had the privilege of visiting your home multiple times and each time, we have grown to love it more and more, and can envision ourselves building a life together in it.

Cindy has driven by your house after work, imagining that the drive will be her route to and from work every day. We have visited your neighborhood, your house and marveled at the idea that we can potentially start our lives in a cute and charming Spanish style home.

The first step into your home took our breath away. The floorplan, where the living room, dining room and kitchen spill into each other, gives the living space an inviting atmosphere. We appreciate the tasteful renovations such as the beautiful prints of the bathroom tiles, kitchen backsplash, and new windows that bring in a ton of natural light to create a welcoming ambiance. We can see ourselves hosting our friends in the backyard entering through the beautiful sliding patio door. We can imagine walking to the nearby market or restaurant to pick up dinner and walking Coby, our Pomeranian, every night in the neighborhood.

We would be blessed to call this our home, where we can build memories for years to come and look back with fondness and nostalgia.

Dear Owners,

You have created such a unique and beautiful home, and I feel lucky to have stumbled upon it after a frustrating year-long search for a home. I write this note to communicate my most earnest intentions to bring my best to the table: both in this offer, and to this home.

Finding your home was serendipity. I stepped inside and the incredible, clever effort you have put into creating your home took my breath away. I hoped that I would find a place to nurture a career, start a family with my partner, and experience serenity. What I did not realize until I stepped inside your home is the resonance I would feel with the style and layout and what it can offer my life.

I am at heart a very creative person. For me to have a separate space- to create, and to share my love of movement and writing will nourish my soul. In my spare time, I teach yoga and meditation to underserved communities. Offering these peace-building practices is the great joy of my life. Your gorgeous ADU is divinely suited not only for me to practice my creative work but also to share healing space with family and close friends.

Finding a home has been a really long and challenging journey. I was close to giving up. If you choose me to be the steward of your special place, know that I will value the gift you have shared with me and pay the good fortune forward.
